Space, Environment and Text Analysis Group (SEATAG)

SEATAG aims to facilitate student and faculty research into textual analysis writ large, which includes both qualitative interpretative approaches and quantitative forms of analysis.  We work to understand the role of multiple forms of texts to demonstrate how various discourses about space, the environment and geopolitics are created and enhanced in our media-drenched lives.

The goals of SEATAG can be found here, but succinctly, we aim to show how digital humanities and geohumanities approaches can shed light on the world around us.
